Atmospheric pool lighting
Do you enjoy a nighttime dip in the pool? Or do you just want to enjoy the eye-catcher in your garden at any time of the day? The right pool lighting can help! With underwater lighting in your pool, you can enjoy memorable moments by the pool even after sunset. But what options are available? And which ones should you choose?
Types of pool lighting
We recommend recessed spotlights as standard for our pools. This recessed pool lighting is seamlessly mounted in the side walls of the pool, eliminating the risk of injury while swimming. Be sure not to install too many spotlights, as water is a natural reflector. This means you can illuminate the entire pool with a minimum number of spotlights.

Which pool lighting?
In the past, swimming pools were standardly equipped with halogen lamps, but underwater LED lighting is rapidly gaining popularity. Why? LED lighting is very durable, environmentally friendly, and ultimately cheaper. An LED lamp lasts at least 70,000 hours, which is a big difference from the 1,500 hours of a halogen lamp. They also consume much less energy and are available in various RGB colors. Ideal for those late-night swims! For your swimming pool, it is best to use power LEDs instead of regular LED lighting, as these are powerful enough to illuminate the water.
